BC Place launches $5 menu including beer, hot dogs and nachos

Grabbing a beer for $5 at BC Place is now a reality, as the stadium announced a new, more affordable menu that also includes hotdogs and nachos.
However, for fans looking to get their hands on the cheaper treats it might be a bit of a walk. The more affordable refreshments are only available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands in sections 201 and 227.
We’re excited to introduce the $5 Menu to our guests, featuring fan-favourite concession items including beer, hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn.

BC Place says it is a pilot project, and the menu was created in collaboration with Sodexo Live!
“The pilot project was launched in an effort to make the stadium experience more accessible, providing classic fare at a low price,” the venue says.
BC Place adds there’s even a chance for some rotating seasonal items.

“We know that for some, buying tickets to a game or a concert can be a big financial commitment, and we want to ensure that everyone has the ability to enjoy a meal at our stadium,” said Chris May, BC Place General Manager.
“We want fans to know they have options – whether it’s a Slow Roasted Prime Rib sandwich or a beer and hotdog for $10. The $5 Menu helps ensure there is something for everyone.”
It says the $5 menu is in effect immediately, and locals can get the cheap eats at the upcoming Red Hot Chili Peppers concert on March 29.
