The Rupert SkyTrain Station has reopened after a “sudden death” Saturday morning closed the station for several hours, according to Metro Vancouver Transit Police.
“It appears that it was a sudden death earlier this morning [at] about 7 a.m.” Const. Amanda Steed said.
Steed adds that although the cause of death is unknown, investigators don’t believe it was suspicious.
#SkyTrain UPDATE: Police Incident at Rupert Station has now cleared, service has been restored. Some gaps in service are expected as service resumes. Thank you for your patience. Canada Line & Expo Line remain unaffected. ^DA
