Man seriously hurt in alleged ‘attempted murder’ at Coquitlam park: RCMP

A man is critically hurt after Mounties say a fight broke out in a Coquitlam park on Saturday morning.
According to the Coquitlam RCMP, officers were called to the city’s Brookemere Park around 9:15 a.m.
Investigators believe the altercation was “between at least two adult males,” and suspect it was an “attempted murder.”

It’s unclear how he was hurt, but Mounties say one man was taken to the hospital and has life-threatening injuries.
