The annual Grouse Grind Mountain Run event is set to take place Aug. 26, and this year’s race will raise money in support of North Shore Rescue.
The race, which is celebrating its 30th year, will see more than 300 participants sprint up the 2.9 kilometre course that boasts 800 metres of elevation.
“Those looking to sprint up the mountain will be expected to set times of about 30 minutes or less for the women’s and men’s categories,” the Grouse Mountain Resort said in a news release. “While there is an elite category in the race, people of all ages and abilities were invited to register with the main goal being to compete against yourself.”
