“Crews are battling it right now. It’s in the outside walls. We are trying to open up all the stucco,” Gemmill told CityNews.

He says it appears all the occupants were able to get out of the building, but crews are still searching.

In addition, Gemmill says there is one unit on the second floor which was fully engulfed in flames.

The building itself has a restaurant on the bottom floor and then two floors of residential units.

Fire crews are asking the public to avoid the area of Main Street leading up to the viaduct.
