Vancouver homicide suspect arrested

More than a month after two men were found shot in East Vancouver, police say one victim has died and a suspect has been arrested.

The VPD says officers were called to the area of Victoria Drive and East 28 Avenue just after midnight on Sept. 10 to find two men hurt.

They were both taken to the hospital, police add.

While one of the victims is recovering, the other — Zuhoruddin Mansoori — died of his injuries this past Monday, police explain.

The VPD says a suspect was arrested on Oct.18, adding charges have not been laid.

Mansoori’s death was the city’s 13th homicide of 2023, according to police.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
