BC Search and Rescue launches ‘Adventure Hub’ database for outdoor enthusiasts

The BC Search and Rescue Association has launched a new resource for outdoor enthusiasts.

A new database, called “Adventure Hub,” offers listings encompassing a wide variety of activities, including canoeing, geocaching, fishing, rock climbing, and skiing.

It also maps out where the activities can be enjoyed.

Users can look up the sports or endeavours they are interested in and choose a region, and the site will provide a listing of relevant resources and vendors. It provides suggestions for apps to download and websites to check for weather, closures, and other information. It also includes training for various outdoor activities.

The site currently has around 450 listings, which have all been vetted.
