Man wearing a Santa suit arrested: Victoria police

A certain Santa is on the naughty list in Victoria after police say a man dressed up as St. Nick was seen waving around a replica gun on Wednesday morning.
The Victoria Police Department says officers were called to the area near Douglas Street and Fort Street at around 10:30 a.m. after hearing about the man and his gun.
Police say they found the man wearing a Santa suit and a fake beard while sitting on a nearby bench shortly after. Officers arrested him after finding out that “he had an outstanding warrant for uttering threats.”
The man remains in police custody and will appear in court at a date unspecified by police.
The gun turned out to be fake, but police say they are actively investigating the firearm.
