Crime Stoppers is sending out a warning Tuesday, with a list of its “least wanted Valentines.”
The organization shared its latest list of most wanted suspects in B.C., providing the public with names and photos of six suspects who are wanted in connection with a range of cases.
“They’re definitely individuals you do not want to get involved with. They will break your heart, worse, you may end up in the hospital, or even worse, you may get killed. Be sure not to get involved with them,” Crime Stoppers CEO Linda Annis said Tuesday.
“Our ‘valentines’ this year are wanted for serious crimes ranging from murder, drug and firearms offences, to fraud and kidnapping,” Annis said. “Someone, somewhere knows where these people are and we’re urging them to do the right thing and call Crime Stoppers anonymously.”
The six men on the list unveiled Tuesday are:
- Cody Timothy Casey, wanted for over 17 drug and firearms offences
- Denis Ivziku, wanted on an international drug and firearms trafficking investigation
- Bith Gattang Chuol, wanted for first-degree murder, kidnapping, extortion, and more
- Raj Kumar Mehmi, wanted for possession for the purposes of trafficking and importation of a controlled substance
- Adam Thorndyke, wanted on 98 charges of fraud
- Fabian Yul Brown, wanted for kidnapping, assault, break and enter, fraud, and more
Shortly after Crime Stoppers unveiled the names of these people, the Surrey RCMP announced that Fabian Yul Brown had been arrested in Winnipeg earlier in the month.
Crime Stoppers says tips that lead to the arrest and charge of a wanted person can come with a reward up to $5,000 in many cases. In the case of Casey, a reward of up to $100,000 has been posted by the be on the lookout (BOLO) program and the local Crime Stoppers chapter.
