Tickets to Sunday Rogers Away Game Canucks watch party sell out

Tickets to watch the Vancouver Canucks play an away game on the big screen at Rogers Arena have sold out.

On Sunday, May 12, the Canucks will face the Oilers in Game 3 of Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Edmonton.

Ticketmaster shows the opportunity to watch the away game from the jumbotron in Rogers Arena has passed — all tickets have been claimed.

Since previous games, the price to join viewing parties increased from $15 to $20, but the tickets sold out within hours of going on sale Thursday morning.

On the ticket resale website, StubHub, one seller has listed their passes for $200 each. The current low price on StubHub is $73.

Meanwhile, fans hoping to watch the Canucks play live at home for Game 2 on Friday, May 10, should also prepare to pay a high cost.

As of Thursday, the cheapest seats for sale on Ticketmaster are over $400.

For Sunday’s viewing party, Ticketmaster says “Check back soon” for the possibility of it making more seats available for sale.

Rogers is the parent company of this station.
