Meanwhile, hundreds of people are set to converge at Victory Square in Vancouver on Monday afternoon.
The group is calling for the government to take further action against the unregulated toxic drug crisis.
People who use illicit substances, former drug users, and allies from across the Lower Mainland will be in attendance.
The rally begins at 2 p.m. You can watch CityNews 24/7 live or listen live to 1130 NewsRadio Vancouver to keep up to date with this story. You can also subscribe to breaking news alerts sent directly to your inbox.
