The BC Highway Patrol (BCHP) has confirmed it is investigating after a driver struck an overpass on Highway 1 near Chilliwack Tuesday afternoon.

A video submitted to 1130 NewsRadio shows a truck, marked with a Prime Flatbeds Ltd. logo, stuck in the right-hand lane.
1130 NewsRadio contacted a company of the same name. An employee there said it is aware of the incident but denies that the overpass was struck.
Police say the vehicle and load have now been “un-stuck” and moved off the road.
“The overpass itself has visible damage, but it does not appear to have affected the structural integrity of the overpass,” said a statement by the BCHP.
The BC Ministry of Transportation is reportedly evaluating the damage, and Mounties are working with Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement to determine what penalties will be issued to the driver and the company involved.
Drivers in the area are advised to slow down and exercise caution.
Tuesday’s strike marks the 11th overpass strike in B.C. since the beginning of the year.
The truck involved was carrying an undetermined load covered in orange tarps.
Despite appearances, the Abbotsford Police Department says it’s not the same truck as the one hauling a similar-looking load involved in taking down electrical lines in Abbotsford later Tuesday. Police say the trucks belong to two separate companies, but the loads belong to the “same shipper.”
