2 hospitalized after Pattullo Bridge crash Sunday night

The Surrey Police Service is investigating a crash on the Pattullo Bridge that sent two people to hospital on Sunday night.

The SPS says that around 8:35 p.m., police, fire, and the province’s emergency health service responded to the two-crash in the area of the bridge and King George Boulevard.

“A male and a female were treated for their injuries on scene and transported to hospital with serious injuries,” Sgt. Tige Pollock said in a statement.

The eastbound lanes of the bridge were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
