Surrey police investigating after shots fired at home

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after an overnight shooting.

Officers were called to a home on 153A Street near 112 Avenue around 3 a.m. Thursday after reports of possible shots fired at a home.

When they arrived, they confirmed the residence was damaged by gunshots, the SPS says.

Police are working to determine if the shooting is related to other files, but say it doesn’t appear to be related to extortion.

No injuries have been reported, police say.

Anyone with any information or CCTV footage is asked to call the SPS at 604-599-0502 and refer to file number 25-65067 (SU).
