The driver with a Novice license allegedly showed signs of impaired driving due to alcohol.

The red two-door Honda Civic crashed into the owner’s bedroom after the driver failed to stop at the intersection.

The police said the resident was not seriously injured.

The driver was then sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, where staff drew his blood to test his blood-alcohol level following a request from an RCMP officer.

The investigation into impaired driving is ongoing.

Anyone who saw the accident or the vehicle near the area at the time of the accident is asked to contact Mission RCMP at (604)-826-7161.
