After promoting a major service update, Hullo Ferries announced that it has dropped prices on select trips this summer and introduced “demand-based” pricing.
Starting June 1, a limited number of tickets for mid-week sailings will cost $19.99 — its lowest fare. Meanwhile, the company says travellers may notice prices rising on other trips.
“As sailings start to reach capacity, pricing may see a marginal increase,” said Hullo.

The company has previously used social media to tease the idea of adding service to and from Victoria.
Hullo also lowered the price of bringing a bicycle from $30 to $19.99 and lowered luggage pricing to a $19.99 flat fee.
The privately owned service launched in August of 2023 and has since grown to offer up to 14 daily sailings on two high-speed vessels.
