Shots fired at home in Surrey

A home in Surrey was the target of gunfire Monday morning, police say.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it responded to reports of shots fired near 95 Avenue and 127 Street around 2:50 a.m.

No one was reported injured, but officers reportedly found a residence damaged by bullets.

The SPS says it’s too early to determine motivation for the shooting, and investigators have not connected the incident to extortion.
