Delta police investigating after shots fired in unoccupied business

Police in Delta are investigating after shots were fired early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to the area of 82nd Avenue and 120th Street shortly after 3:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found shell casings and confirmed several shots had been fired into an unoccupied business.

The incident appears to have been targeted, but police say they aren’t sure if it was related to extortion.

Investigators are working in the area, speaking with witnesses.
