Chilliwack RCMP ask for public assistance to identify suspect in bus driver assault

Mounties in Chilliwack are asking the public to help identify a suspect in an assault on a bus driver that took place in March.

On March 16, just after 6 p.m., the Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of an assault on a bus in the area of South Sumas Road and Vedder Road.

A passenger had allegedly assaulted the bus driver who had injuries as a result.

Despite an ongoing investigation, police have not been able to identify the suspect.

The man is described as approximately 18-19 years old, 6’0” tall, slender build, and brown wavy hair.

He was seen wearing a red jacket with fur on the hood, a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans with ripped knees.
