Surrey fire crews battle blaze at abandoned Whalley house

Fire crews in Surrey were called to a blaze at a Whalley home early Friday morning, Asst. Chief Carl Schmor tells CityNews.
Schmor says they were called to the two-storey house, located in the area of 100A Avenue and 140 Street, shortly before 6 a.m.

No residents were present, and no injuries have been reported, according to Schmor.
Schmor says it is not clear whether or not the incident is suspicious, as the cause is under investigation.
