Man left critically injured after suspected assault, according to Langley RCMP

Police in Langley say they were called out to a report of an injured man round 9:50 p.m. on July 1.
The man was located near Park Avenue and Douglas Crescent.
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO 1130 NEWSRADIO VANCOUVER LIVE!RCMP, paramedics and firefighters attended the scene and found a 75-year-old Langley man with serious injuries.
The man was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.
“Investigators have reviewed video surveillance from the area and believe victim’s injuries may be the result of an assault,” said Cst. Peter Mann of the Langley RCMP.
“Officers believe there were additional people in the area who may have witnessed the incident, and we are asking those individuals to come forward and speak with investigators.”
Anyone able to provide officers with dash camera or CCTV footage from the area from 9:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. is asked to contact the Langley RCMP.
