Three reports of indecent acts at Central Park being investigated: RCMP

The Burnaby RCMP report they are investigating three separate reports of indecent acts at Central Park in the last week.
Police say that all three incidents involved a male engaged in an indecent act in various areas of Central Park on July 5th, 6th, and 9th.
The incidents also took place at different times of the day.
The reported acts varied from the male exposing himself to masturbating in public, Mounties say.
Police are investigating the incidents to see if they can identify a suspect or suspects and if the acts are connected.
The investigation is ongoing and RCMP report that they will be conducting enhanced patrols in the area.
“These types of incidents are extremely concerning for police and the public. We want to ensure that people are informed, so they remain vigilant and take appropriate precautions, including staying aware of their surroundings,” said Burnaby RCMP Media Relations Officer Michael Kalanj.
“We also want to strongly encourage people to contact police immediately to report any similar incidents or suspicious behaviour.”
