Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash with transport truck in Kitsilano

LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS 1130) — A motorcyclist is in serious condition after a crash in Kitsilano Thursday afternoon.
Vancouver Police say a 40-year-old man was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries around 2:30 p.m. after a motorcycle and transport truck collided. Police say the motorcycle was heading east on West 4th when it collided with the truck, which was making a left turn going south on Blanca Street.

The serious crash led to road closures at the intersection for several hours Thursday evening.
Meantime, a second serious crash has turned out to be fatal in Coquitlam. One man has died and two others are in the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
A third serious crash also caused problems on the roads.
In Surrey, a collision that appeared to involve a pedestrian had police blocking off Highway 10 at 168th and 152nd is at Panorama Drive for several hours.
Police haven’t yet released any information on injuries from to this crash.
