Vancouver power outages affect 17,000 customers

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Multiple power outages in Vancouver left roughly 17,000 BC Hydro customers in the dark Thursday evening.

Service was lost around 6:30 p.m. but restored just before 8 p.m.

 

The affected area spanned several neighborhoods including Shaughnessy, South Cambie, Arbutus Ridge, and Kerrisdale.
