The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in.

The shooting appears to be related to a fire reported in Surrey’s Guildford neighbourhood. Just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday Surrey RCMP was called to 155 Street and 106 Avenue for a vehicle fire, with Mounties confirming the shooting and fire are believed to be linked.

It is not clear if this is related to the ongoing Lower Mainland Gang Conflict.
