Police seeking trio of arson suspects after fire at Maple Ridge playground

Mounties in Maple Ridge are asking for the public’s help identifying three people seen in the area of an arson at a park last month.

The Ridge Meadows RCMP says the fire caused $70,000 worth of damage to a playground structure at Volker Park on 123 Avenue, west of 212 Street on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

The Maple Ridge Fire Department first responded to the reports of the fire shortly before 8 p.m.

CCTV footage from the area at the time appears to show three people exit a black sedan with a sunroof.
