Entry to George Massey Tunnel cleared after semi crash

A crash involving a semi truck that was blocking southbound traffic from Richmond towards Delta near the opening of the George Massey Tunnel has cleared Monday morning.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio first reported the crash around 7 a.m.

The northbound counterflow lane was also temporarily blocked.

Congestion is expected to continue well into the morning commute. Drivers can take the Alex Fraser Bridge to avoid delays.
