VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Sometimes you get a great idea for a small business – but where do you go from there? We’re getting some advice from the creators of Clodhoppers, who are sharing their amazing success story.
Chris Emery and Larry Finnson are in Vancouver for the Successful You Business Awards Ceremony & Networking Event, on Thursday.
They turned their grandmother’s candy recipe into a brand recognized around the world – Clodhoppers Candy! Emery says they always had the drive. “In highschool, friends were always very business orientated and wanted to get into business with each other and wanted to make a million dollars.”
They did. As far as advice goes, he says number one entrepreneurs have to be committed to their idea. “Search deep within themselves and they have to believe in what they’re doing and they have to be truly passionate about it, because they’re going to be doing it 12 hours a day for the next five, ten years.”
