Surrey man who killed stepsons to be sentenced in September

SURREY (NEWS1130) – The Surrey man who killed his stepsons last year, and critically injured their mother, will be sentenced September 10th. Mehendra Singh Johal, 68, pleaded guilty last Thursday.

On Father’s Day 2009, police found the bodies of  Amarjit Gill, 17, and his brother Ranjit, 15, in Johal’s townhouse on 64 Ave. and 126 St.

Neighbours had called 911 after hearing several gun shots. Sukhwinder Gill survived the attack.
