Imposter Facebook page taken down

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – We told you yesterday about a Victoria woman who discovered an imposter had been using her photos on a fake Facebook page. Despite countless complaints, the page was not taken down until now. The fake Facebook page has been removed.

It’s not clear why; calls to Facebook’s California headquarters have not been returned. In a written statement the company says passing off another person’s photos as your own on Facebook is against company policy.
