Ridge Meadows RCMP will release more details about a suspected assault at a rave

PITT MEADOWS (NEWS1130) – Ridge Meadows RCMP are expected to release more information Thursday morning about a suspected assault at a rave. According to the Maple Ridge News, mounties say a girl was sexually assaulted and a teenage boy was arrested on Tuesday after the all-night weekend party on Harris Road.

The 10 a.m. press conference is expected to address entries on Facebook about the assault, and the spreading of material that is suspected of being child pornography.

Mounties say they’ll also address some of the allegations, including some obstruction of their investigation. They’ll also pass on some important messages for young people and their parents.
