SURREY (NEWS1130) – Five farm workers are hurt and a driver is being investigated for impaired driving after a crash in South Surrey.
RCMP Inspector Dave Attfield says it happened on 168th Street near 40th Avenue early Tuesday evening.”A pickup truck appears to have attempted to overtake a farm wagon being pulled by a tractor. There were several pickers on the back of the wagon. The pickup clipped the back of the wagon.”
Attfield tells us five of the workers suffered minor injuries. He adds this could have been far worse – it was a matter of inches.
