Robson Square skating rink re-opened

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – An Olympic favourite is back and just in time for the holiday season.

Premier Gordon Campbell and Citizens Services Minister Mary McNeil were on hand Sunday morning in downtown Vancouver to re-open the outdoor skating rink at Robson Square.

It will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. through February, weather permitting.

Construction work around Robson Square is expected to be finished by spring 2011.
