Canucks take on the Lightning

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Canucks are getting set for a huge evening at Rogers Arena tomorrow when the club plays host to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The team will retire long-time captain Markus Naslund’s #19 to the rafters. Naslund retired from the NHL following the 2008 season as the Canucks all-time leader in points with 756.
He played 12 of his 15 NHL seasons in a Canucks uniform and was the captain between 2000 and 2007. As a Canuck, Naslund led the team in scoring for a club record seven seasons, scored 30 or more goals six different times, and enjoyed three consecutive seasons with 40 or more goals.
The doors open to the public at 5pm and the fans are strongly recommended to be in their seats by 6pm. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
