A Halifax modeling company is warning parents not to fall for a Facebook scam trying to recruit young girls.
The owner of City Models Talent Agency says someone claiming to be a representative for her company recently contacted a 15-year-old girl in P.E.I. and asked for pictures of her in her underwear.
Angela Campagnoni tells CBC her company doesn’t recruit via Facebook and would never ask under-aged girls for scantily clad pictures.
She’s gone to police and is now on Facebook herself to try and make sure no one else falls for the scam.
