Louie DeBrusk given another month before hearing

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A former NHL hockey player turned sportscaster gets another month before he has to appear before a judge.
Louie DeBrusk has been charged with four counts of assault and two counts of mischief. DeBrusk’s lawyer appeared on his behalf this morning, saying he was only very recently provided with case details.
A downtown community court judge has agreed to move his hearing to February 24th.
The 39-year-old former Edmonton Oiler now works for Rogers Sportsnet. He was arrested on January 9th outside a downtown hotel for apparently assaulting several men and damaging two taxis.
