VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Do you like to do it in public?
We’ve been speaking with a kissing couple who have toured the country in search of Canada’s kissing preferences. Erin and Kevin have done some in-depth research into public displays of affection, or “PDAs.”
The national average is 77 per cent. “The highest is actually in Ontario where it’s 83 per cent, but BC is actually second in line with 80 per cent and Atlantic Canada is the lowest,” says Erin, who loves to plant one in public.
“We heard that they are big huggers,” adds Kevin, who is very much in the anti-PDA camp.
When it comes to frequency, the Dentyne survey says most of us pucker up between one and three times a day. Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba lead the no-kisses-per-day category.
