VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Fighting parking tickets in Vancouver is about to get a little easier. And you won’t even have to put your pants on if you don’t want to.
If you feel like you’ve been unfairly ticketed for a minor bylaw infraction, instead of heading to court, you can now dispute it over the phone or online.
Under the old system, people were waiting more than two years to dispute tickets in court because of a massive backlog.
But be warned, if you dispute the ticket and are found to be wrong, you’ll have to pay an extra $25 on top of the price of the ticket.
