UVic not rabbit-free yet

By

VICTORIA (NEWS1130) – The University of Victoria is having some trouble getting rid of all those rabbits on campus.

Eight bunnies are playing hard to get, as the university sets traps to try to send them to a sanctuary.

More than 500 animals have already been caught and sent to the facility.

UVic tells the Times Colonist someone has been tampering with the traps, which doesn’t really help the rabbits in the long run. Any rabbits caught after the campaign to make the university rabbit free wraps up will be destroyed.
