SFU car crash kills young woman

BURNABY (NEWS1130) – Burnaby RCMP are asking for witnesses to come forward after a deadly crash at Simon Fraser University Tuesday night.

A young woman died and two men were seriously hurt after their car went off an embankment at Gaglardi Way and University Drive at around 7:00 p.m. A fourth person in the car is believed to have suffered only minor injuries.

Police haven’t said if the driver was speeding, or had been drinking.

All are believed to be students at SFU and their names haven’t been released.
