NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A 72-year-old woman has been re-united with a family heirloom that was stolen earlier this week.
North Vancouver Mounties say Ann Lidstone, who has cancer, is thanking people for the tips that were phoned in about the theft.
Police say a woman befriended Lidstone at a bus stop and convinced her to give her $400 as well as the harp.
The woman knocked on the senior’s door today, apologized, and returned the harp. Investigators will still be recommending charges against the woman and her male accomplice.
