If postal workers strike, remember to pay those bills!

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Remember: Even if the mail stops this week, you’re still responsible for making sure your bills are paid.

A lot of us have switched to electronic billing in the last few years, but for those who still get paper copies, Shawn Hall with Telus says you still have to make payments. “[There] are a lot of ways to do that. We are putting information out to customers by email, text message, and we’ve got good information on our website.”

Postal workers could strike as early as 11:59 p.m. tomorrow, but will the majority of us even notice? Few of us write letters — and the National Post talked with a number of experts who say a strike would virtually go unnoticed.

One professor interactive multimedia says that every possible need for sending or receiving things — other than physical items — can be met online.
