VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A small sinkhole is causing big problems in downtown Vancouver today.
Summer roadwork is nothing new in Vancouver, but a manhole cover-sized sinkhole on Seymour at Robson spotted last night has now prompted road crews to bring in the backhoe.
The foreman says the problem is the hole may be small on the surface, but there could be a big void underneath, and that could mean trouble for cars passing over.
Seymour Street is down to one lane. One lane has been closed westbound along Robson Street.
