C’s going to the playoffs

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canadians are going to the playoffs.  The C’s dropped their last game of the season 8-2 to Boise Hawks on Saturday but their ticket was punched when the Spokane Indians doused the Everett AquaSox’s post-season hopes with a 4-2 win last night.

“All that matters is that we are in,” says Canadians hitting coach Dave Pano.  “Now it is a clean slate and we look forward to hosting the Eugene Emeralds on Monday afternoon back in Vancouver.”

The first two games will be played at Nat Bailey Stadium.  If necessary, the deciding game will take place at PK Park in Eugene, Oregon.

The Canadians finished the season with a 39-37 record.
