Suspect in violent Calgary crimes may be in Lower Mainland

LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) – Police in Calgary say a man wanted in connection with a violent home invasion may be in the Lower Mainland.
Michael George Delday, 23, is suspected of taking part in breaking into a home and assaulted a man inside. They also went through the victim’s basement and bedroom.
Police also believe Delday threatened a man at gunpoint in a separate incident. He is wanted on warrants for house break and enter, assault, criminal harassment and uttering threats.
Delday is considered a threat to public safety and police warn people should use extreme caution when dealing with him. He is considered violent, armed, and dangerous. Delday is known to the Calgary Police’s Gang Enforcement Team.
He’s Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 189 lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes. On his left forearm, he has a tattoo of the words “money, power, respect.”
If you see him, you should not approach him. You’re advised to call the police right away.
