SURREY (NEWS1130) – It may already be stuck it on your windshield — a Port Mann toll decal.
The small, band-aid sized sticker that tracks your trips over the new bridge are being sent to homes right now.
Greg Johnson with the toll tracking company, TreO, says you won’t have to wait very long.
“We’re getting a lot of calls and questions about the decals. We really appreciate that people who are eager and excited to get them. Decals will be arriving by mail in the coming days, there’s no doubt about that, and certainly by December the 8th before tolling commences,” explains Johnson.
“They have started being shipped out; many drivers have received theirs already.”
He says more than a quarter of a million drivers have already signed up and that number will grow in the next week and a half.
“We expect the registration numbers to really climb between now and November 30th and the Customer Service Centre has been really busy in the past few weeks. That’s the goal, we want to get as many drivers registered before tolling starts on December 8th,” says Johnson.
For drivers who have a Golden Ears Bridge transponder, you won’t need it after December 8.
“Once tolling starts on the Port Mann Bridge, those Golden Ears Bridge customers can feel free to go ahead and return their transponders,” adds Johnson.
If you have any questions or complaints about your decal, can call the TreO call centre 604-516-TREO (8736).
