Sportsnet’s regional Canucks broadcast schedule released

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) –  The Vancouver Canucks have announced details of this seasons extensive broadcast schedule on Rogers Sportsnet.

A 57-game broadcast schedule will air on Sportsnet throughout the season alongside 25 nationally televised games to provide a complete 82-game televised regular season schedule.

Sportsnet Pacific will broadcast 49 games with eight remaining games scheduled to air on Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey, the Sportsnet ONE companion channel. The first regular season Sportsnet game will be the Canucks’ visit to Calgary Sunday, October 6th.

The highlights include four games against original six teams, and 15 divisional matchups within the new alignment of the Western Conference.  In addition to 57 regular season games, Sportsnet will also broadcast four preseason games.

Sportsnet’s broadcast team will again feature play-by-play announcer John Shorthouse, analyst John Garrett and host Dan Murphy.
