VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It appears many Canadians aren’t getting a good night’s rest — and that’s having an impact on our day-to-day lives.
About 40 per cent of us don’t get a good sleep and say that affects our productivity and makes it hard to concentrate at work.
It seems we’re so desperate for some shut-eye, we would give up a night out, romance, vacation days, and even a raise, if it meant getting a solid eight hours.
People in Atlantic Canada seem most likely to report having sleep issues, while our friends in Alberta get the best sleeps. The average working Canadian sleeps between six and eight hours a night.
