Pedestrian hurt in Abbotsford hit and run

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Police in Abbotsford are looking for the driver involved in a hit and run involving a pedestrian last night.

It happened at around 7:40 p.m. at Marshall and McCallum Roads.

Police say a 29-year-old man was walking north in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a car that was turning left.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital. He has non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the dark blue newer sedan is described as an older South Asian man. Police say witnesses have told them the driver stopped briefly and parked facing west on Marshall Road, but then got back into the car and drove off.
