Two men drown on Salt Spring Island

SALT SPRING ISLAND (NEWS 1130) – The BC Coroners Service now confirms two men have died after an incident on Weston Lake, just north of Fulford Harbour, on Salt Spring Island.
Coroner Barb McLintock says there are few other details about the case right now but that it happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday when the pair, both in their 20s, were pulled from the lake.
The two were rushed to hospital in critical condition but died shortly after.
McLintock doesn’t expect to release any more updates on this case today.
